We all care - BB

We certify that this person cares about a more sustainable future for the planet because they actively participated in the creation of the book "We All Care" by Banco do Brasil, made during the G20 Social Summit on November 14th, 15th, and 16th, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.

WE CARE: A BOOK THAT UNITES CULTURE, TECHNOLOGY, AND SUSTAINABILITY

In this project, Banco do Brasil demonstrated its commitment by focusing on three of its brand territories: Culture, Technology, and Sustainability.

Culture is present in the book “We Care” in various ways: through the illustrations by Bacaro Borges—son of J. Borges, one of the creators of the Armorial Movement—, which give style and form to the BB tree as well as the cover and internal pages of the work; through the handcrafted interventions on the cover, enhancing the beauty of Bacaro`s illustrations, made by Orientavida, an NGO that trains, employs, and generates income for women in socially vulnerable situations; and through the artisanal production process of each book copy.

In the Technology territory, “We Care” was created with the help of artificial intelligence tailored to be a specialist in Sustainability, the third territory incorporated into this work. This AI was fed with all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, all materials underlying Banco do Brasil`s sustainability guidelines—named the World’s Most Sustainable Bank by the Global 100 ranking of the World`s 100 Most Sustainable Companies for five consecutive years—including BB`s Agenda 30, Banco do Brasil’s 12 Commitments to Sustainability (aligned with the 17 SDGs), all preparatory documents for the G20 Rio, and testimonials common participants of the G20 Social, captured by the AI embedded in the BB trees strategically located in front of the Museum of Tomorrow in Praça Mauá and the Kobra Pavilion, Pier Mauá, during the event that took place on November 14th, 15th, and 16th, 2024.

With the AI equipped with all this content, we made the following request to the BB tree: “Now that you are a specialist in Sustainability, across all themes surrounding this topic, I need you to give me one hundred simple and practical suggestions that any person can apply in their daily lives for each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.” This generated the 1,700 suggestions you will see ahead. With this book published, Banco do Brasil and Brazilians can say: we all care!
