The Black Belt certification consists of applying the Lean Six Sigma methodology, principles and implement business impact projects with high complexity.
Upon completion of the training, the candidates must apply and evidence the following topics in their projects:

- Complete the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Complete Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training (100% attendance).
- Complete two Black Belt projects with $250,000 USD savings combined.
- Get the Technology Kaizen Facilitator certification.
- Mentoring 6 YB or GB projects and lead or co-lead YB and GB class.
- Get ASQ Black Belt certification.
